Did you know that Anna M. Mangin invented the pastry fork in 1891?
Mangin was awarded the patent on March 1, 1892, for the pastry fork for mixing pastry dough.
The pastry fork was used to mix dough for pie crusts, cookies, butter and flour, beat eggs, mash potatoes, and even mix salad dressings without the need to use one’s hands.
